This past Tuesday was Laney’s birthday, and mom Kelli decided that since they had to observe physical distancing there was no reason they couldn’t be social and have a birthday celebration at a distance. So they set out to invite a few friends to drive by, and the invitation ended up getting shared with all her friends – so Laney’s drive-by birthday resulted in numerous vehicles, loaded with her friends, driving great distances for some, just for a few minutes to greet Laney, with balloons floating above sunroofs and popping out of car windows, dropping off their gifts “curbside” and honking their horns in celebration. Hopefully the neighbors were cool with it. Happy Birthday Laney!
